In recent days, YouTube applied a new update within its platform that was widely criticized by users. People who entered to watch videos were given the news that they could not view those that had a 4K resolution. The audiovisual giant wanted to reserve that function for those users who had YouTube Premium.
This radical change was not announced by the company, overnight users found that they could no longer access these videos. However, now, from YouTube they have confirmed that it was only an experiment and that it has already ended, so all users of the platform, whether they are Premium or not, can watch 4K videos completely free.

This change in its policies is added to another of Google’s experiments on YouTube that also received numerous criticisms from users: the experiment consisted of placing up to five ads at the beginning of a video. The company claimed that this was yet another experiment, but it has been decided to cancel it altogether.
