YouTube Premium increased the price of its subscription: how much are we going to pay
Through an email sent to each Google user, YouTube announced an increase in the cost of its service. For now, the “change will be effective the next billing cycle, beginning on or after November 21, 2022.”
“We created YouTube Premium in order to offer you a seamless experience on YouTube,” the platform said in a statement to its customers and reported: “To continue providing services and features, we will increase the price of your Premium plan.”

In the case of individual plans, the value will go from $119 to $389. While family plans will increase from $179 to $699. These values do not include the surcharge for PAIS tax and profit withholding that is applied as it is an expense in dollars. So with taxes applied, the individual plan increases from $210 to $685. In the same sense, the family plan increased its value from $315 to $1,230.
Those who have access to YouTube Premium, both individual users and family plan users, can watch YouTube without ads, play content in the background and offline, as well as access songs from the YouTube Music app.
