In the midst of shortages of diesel in Argentina, the oil company YPF will charge a surcharge on the price of vehicles with foreign patents.

According to reports today from company sources, light cars and heavy transport vehicles with foreign patents will only be able to carry Infinia Diesel at a price of $240 per liter.

YPF said that it continues to make its maximum supply and logistical efforts to maximize the supply of diesel.

The operation has already begun to be carried out in Mendoza and the Litoral provinces, and is added to the measures in force in the cities of the border area.

This decision seeks to limit the unusually high demand associated with border and logistics consumption, where growth exceeds 30% in some parts of the country.
