The Boca Juniors footballer Sebastián Villa affirmed today that he is “innocent” when giving his last words before the Justice dictates its verdict next Friday in the trial that follows him after being accused of Exercising gender violence against your ex-partner.

“I am innocent. I am an excellent person, a good son, a good brother”said the Boca player.

The Correctional Court No. 2 of the town must determine the criminal responsibility of the soccer player in the crime of minor injuries aggravated by the relationship, gender violence and coercive threats

In this context, Villa insisted on his innocence: “What I have to say is that I would never hurt Daniela or her family”.

Judge Claudia Dávalos will determine the final verdict of the trial on next June 2 at 1:00 p.m., in the Courts of Lomas de Zamora. There the alleged event that occurred on April 27, 2020, in Canning, will be tried.

The prosecutor’s office requested a sentence of two years and three months in prison for the Boca footballer, in the event that the assault on his ex-partner is proven.

During his plea, prosecutor Sergio Anuati stated that “the facts are proven” and maintained that Cortés “lived through a traumatic situation” in which it existed “an escalation of violence”.
